This project aims to explain some of the most common (and sometimes complex) terms we use on a daily basis.

All the definitions and materials have been created by our Communications team in collaboration with the Centre’s researchers 💻🔍. As we can’t cover all the terms used in science and medicine, we will focus on those that are most relevant to our scientific agenda. 🗓️

Neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) are a diverse group of infectious diseases that pose a major challenge to global public health.
